So about that skyline design. This artist-rendering (designed by Station Studios) of our Downtown horizon, highlights our vibrancy – from historic buildings like the Bessborough Hotel and churches along Spadina, to newer ones like the Ferris wheel at Kinsmen Park and the impressive future of River Landing. Also centered between our iconic points of entry are cherished art projects and monuments. Established as a city in 1890, and as a Business Improvement District in 1986, Downtown Saskatoon remains the heart of Saskatchewan, and we think this design does a good job at representing just that.
