Ashala Naidu of Naidu Legal, and a board member with Downtown Saskatoon, is a participant in this year’s Sanctum Challenge. 

On May 30 & 31st, Ashala will join 9 other leaders to experience challenges related to homelessness and chronic disease. The event is a fundraiser for Sanctum Care Group, a community-based organization since 2015 providing care for people living with HIV, or at-risk of acquiring HIV. Sanctum also operates Sanctum 1.5 which is a transitional care home for pregnant women who inject drugs. They offer a supportive home for women and facilitate mother-infant bonding and positive parenting.

Following the 36 hour experience, a dinner will be held on June 1 at TCU Place. If you are interested in supporting Sanctum and Ashala in this important community issue, tickets may be purchased online.
