Every team has a storyteller, a strategist, and a spark of pure energy. For us, that’s Bailey Fawcett, our new specialist in Marketing, Programs, and Partnerships. Roaming around downtown curious about what tomorrow brings, passionately inspired by culture & art, and a true prairie fairy spreading joy along the way. Get to know Bailey and be sure to say hello if she doesn’t approach you first.
Born and raised in Saskatoon, I’m driven by a love for fun, new people, and exploring what the city has to offer. I’m a recent graduate of the Edwards School of Business—finishing my finals in Italy as I was eager to celebrate the end of an extraordinary chapter. Summer was well spent getting up to speed, and now I’m ready to jump in and have some fun with the local business community! I’m thrilled to be joining the team and can’t wait to bring my adventurous spirit, fresh perspective, and a whole lot of joy to everything I do.

What is my go-to coffee and snack order?
Iced black americano… and like 7 cups a day please 🙂 As for snacks, I have the sweetest tooth ever so any pastry or baking always hits the spot.

What jobs have I done in the past that aren’t relevant to my career?
I was a research assistant for the University of Saskatchewan in agronomy, skateboard instructor with the City of Saskatoon, I worked at a local burger joint, held multiple serving jobs while completing my studies, I even completed training and was hired to be a snow remover then realized how unfabulous that specific manual labor sounded…. I love trying new things and my curiosity allows me to flow from one opportunity to the next without hesitation or fear.

What is my favorite item to collect?
Clothing!!! Duh!!! I would confidently say my wardrobe is at least 90% thrifted and vintage. I adore thrifting at my local shops (second avenue has a handful of my favs) and intentionally adventuring to iconic fashion districts in New York and Florence to collect inspiration from global fashionistas.

What do I do after work hours?!
So many things! Eating candy, sitting in nature, seeing my bestest friends and family, trying a new recipe, reading or writing, exploring a new art medium, organizing my crafting closet, tinkering with my sewing machine, dancing extremely hard to relatively any genre with a fun beat, riding my cute bicycle, playing in a garden… honestly just nourishing my mind, body, and soul with stimulating activities and creating a healthy balance that works for me.

I can’t wait to connect with all our business partners and get to work. I’ll be focused on pushing for public art, advocating for a clean and safe downtown, and providing the optimistic perspective our core requires to sustain success.
