Downtown Saskatoon is excited to welcome one of the Global Roots Mural Mosaics into the district at K.W. Nasser Plaza in River Landing. Join us on June 14th at 1 pm in the plaza for the unveiling of Downtown’s newest art addition.
Global Root’s project goal is to (re)connect the world with one painted tile, one tree, one community, and one country at a time. Mural mosaic art director and artist, Lewis Lavoie, has chosen a tree as the project’s symbol of connection. Variations of the mural are located around the world, and now we have one within Saskatoon.
