Created by Kristen Boyé & Greg Orrē, The Drop Spot is a gallery space located on Treaty 6 land in downtown Saskatoon, 117 3rd Ave S, 1st floor of the Drinkle 3 building. The Drop Spot focuses on exclusive drops from artists, themed exhibitions, plus intimate performances, workshops, events, and artist talks. The gallery is open to all disciplines of art and works with artists of all sorts—from emerging artists debuting their first gallery pieces to established professional artists dropping a limited series or performing a surprise acoustic set. The birth of Kristen and Greg’s first child Sunny inspired the artist couple to take a leap at their dream of opening an art gallery. The Drop Spot supports their own lives as artists while also providing a space for the artists to connect people with the art & artists they love. The Drop Spot opened to the public on March 30, 2023.
