DrinkleFest – Better Block Party

September 8, 2013



Come celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the Drinkle3 Building with free music, entertainers, Dixieland parade, children’s activities, and a demonstration of smart bike lane alternatives. The outdoor block party is preceded by the Park(ing) day opening speech by Better Block co-founder Jason Roberts at Third Ave United Church. After the speech a Dixieland parade will lead a bike parade to DrinkleFest where participants can meet Jason and see some better block ideas demonstrated.

Start the party early by attending Park(ing) Day keynote speech by Better Block’s Jason Roberts at Third Ave United Church (Doors open at 2pm). Then follow the 3:30pm Dixieland bike parade from Third Ave United to DrinkleFest.

Come to Mediterranno Restaurant in the Drinkle Building at 7pm to meet with Jason. Entertainement by DJ Charly Hustle.
