Hello, my name is Devereaux Gatin part of the duo at Cafe Del Rey. Living in Saskatoon and having a background in food and hospitality puts a special lens on how I view Saskatoon and the opportunities it presents. Saskatoon offers a unique perspective and plenty of opportunities to explore and contribute to the community. The city’s growing food scene and vibrant hospitality industry provides a rich tapestry to weave my passion into. I have found myself wanting to contribute and become a part of the fabric of Downtown Saskatoon through entrepreneurial journey and culinary expression. The goal with Postal Pizzas Food Truck and Cafe Del Rey has been to carve out a spot within the Downtown district and into the hearts of patrons looking to enjoy quality food and drinks.

I’m excited to see the developments of the Entertainment District. Attending concerts, cultural food festivals and gatherings is an exciting future. Continuing to invest and Revitalize the Downtown core allows businesses to thrive and tourism visitors to experience and discover what Saskatoon has to offer.

Outside of work, I find myself spending a lot of time at Downtown venues and restaurants, enjoying good food, good drinks, and great company. Touring both downtown and the various Meewasin trails by bike is something I very much enjoy.”
