The Downtown Sidewalk Sale is a 3-day annual event during Saskatoon’s festive summer season and one of the busiest retail weekends of the year. The Downtown Sidewalk Sale draws thousands of people into our vibrant Downtown and provides the backdrop for three days of fun in the heart of the city.
The very first Sidewalk Sale happened back in 1979 and some of the businesses that participated back then, are still participating now. With countless retail vendors, numerous child-friendly activities and entertainers, along with musicians throughout the three days, it is always an event not to miss.
Let’s take a little stroll through some of the years past.
