Public Parking

Public on-street parking is metered (i.e. requires payment at a FlexParking station) from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. Payment amounts, payment options and time credit per coin are displayed on all parking meters. Maximum allowable time limits are listed on traffic signs.

Sundays and Statutory Holidays do not require payment.

Time limits for meters on Saskatoon streets vary depending on location, ranging anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, with virtually all Downtown on-street parking locations having a three hour maximum time limit.

Flex Parking – pay once, park anywhere. Purchase parking from any station or through the WayToPark app and your parking session is valid in any FlexParking space across Saskatoon. For example, if you purchase three hours of parking at a Downtown station at 10 am, you can move your vehicle to another parking space controlled by the City of Saskatoon in the district or remain in that same spot for up to three hours. You could also move to another area of the city such as Riversdale and not have to restart your parking session provided you have time left on your purchase. You do need to enter your vehicle licence plate number in the parking station so be sure to record that and enter it accurately in the machine.
