Freddy & Francine
Roots – Pop – Americana – R&B – Folk

Sat Oct 27 – 8:00 pm

Description

The story of Lee Ferris and Bianca Caruso (aka Freddy and Francine) sounds like a script for a movie. They met on the set of the musical Hair, formed a band, fell in love, recorded several albums, broke-up, and got back together after a three-year separation. Raised on everything from Bob Dylan’s folk storytelling to En Vogue’s 90s R&B, Lee and Bianca combine their individual styles and sizable voices into a substantial and soulful blend. But it is difficult to put a label on their sound – is it Americana or pop or soul? Just don’t call it folk – it’s way too energetic.
